Alisha Sparkman Practice Manager
Alisha Sparkman is actively pursuing a nursing career at Wallace State Community College. She found her passion for nursing while assisting with a medical missions trip to Guatemala in the summer of 2007. Since then, she has attended nine medical mission trips in four different countries. Alisha will graduate with an RN Associates Degree in Applied Science in the spring of 2017. After gaining the necessary experience needed to progress in her field, she plans to further her education by achieving her RN, Bachelors Degree in Applied Science at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Alisha is passionate about helping children and those in need. Her overall goal is to become a missionary nurse, and include her daughter, who is also very passionate about helping others, in her travels. In her downtime, Alisha spends time with her daughter and is very active her in church.

Turn into Whitney Houston, and be an astronaut

- What is the most important part of your therapy session?
Although I don’t run therapy sessions, being a positive reinforcement/Play buddy is the highlight of my day.

What do you call a fake noodle? AN IMPASTA!
- Favorite comfort food?
Potatoes, mac and cheese, bread, chips, ice cream, pickles.. the list goes on and on

Pie pans, to make mud pies
- What is your favorite part of your job?
Being Blessed daily by my co-workers and clients. Being a pat of a company that focuses on helping others so much humbles me everyday. I came in this position with the intent of impacting others, and ultimately received so much more than I could ever give. It truly is a “Dream Team!”
