For Schools
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst is available to conduct various behavioral assessments, observations, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)/Functional Assessments (FA), as well as training staff on Behavior Intervention Plans. All FBA’s and FA’s will be followed with a report as well as staff training. Staff Training on the Behavior Intervention Plan will be provided by Madison Behavior Therapy to ensure treatment integrity.
In the past, our consultants have provided the above services for children with a variety of diagnoses including autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Conduct Disorder. We have experience working in Elementary, Middle, and High School classrooms. We are also qualified to write classroom intervention plans or behavior treatments for small and large groups.
ABA Classroom Consultation
Our team of consultants is available to help your school system set up a quality ABA classroom at various grade levels. This can include collaborating with the classroom teacher to create curriculum and centers using the techniques of applied behavior analysis, creating and implementing data collection procedures, and creating and implementing classroom behavior plans. The BCBA consultant often works with the District Behavior Specialist to train teachers and staff to competency in running the program independently and effectively.
ABA Classroom Consultation
During the summer months we offer a three week Registered Behavior Technician Training program that allows your school district staff to be trained and certified as Registered Behavior Technicians. Our BCBA consultants will continue to provide their required supervision throughout the school year. Local School districts have elected to have Autism Specialists, Behavior Specialists, Resource room teachers, Certified Special Education Teachers, as well as Pre-school teachers trained and certified as Registered Behavior Technicians.
